ABOUT ELIZABETH BAQUERO
Hi, I\'m Dr. Elizabeth Baquero. I work full-time at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) as the Research Administrator for the Division of General Internal Medicine where I oversee all research staff and operations for our Division. I am also the the Research Program Manager for the Chief of the Division on multiple health programs funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). I have received several awards for my work performance during my tenure at WCM. My work is focused on improving health education, communication, and reducing health disparities. I work part-time as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Florida International University teaching online for the Department of Communication. I am passionate about teaching and inspiring others to pursue and reach their goals. I am proud to say that I have a 5/5 rating from my students on ratemyprofessor.com and have received an award for excellence in teaching. Through my company, Elizabeth Baquero Consulting Inc, I offer one-on-one coaching on entering the job field and navigating the higher education process to receive a higher education degree. I received my Doctoral Degree in Health Education and Behavior Studies at Columbia University and my Master of Science in Global Strategic Communications at Florida International University. I received my Bachelor\'s Degree in Public Relations, Communication with a minor in Education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
