ABOUT ELIZABETH SHALD
I am a PGY2-trained critical care pharmacist with broad ICU experience, having practiced since 2021 across medical, trauma/surgical, cardiothoracic/vascular, and neuroscience ICUs at an academic medical center, with a current primary focus in the medical ICU. I have demonstrated leadership in advancing evidence-based practice by developing and updating institutional guidelines and protocols. In parallel with my clinical practice, I serve as PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Director for a program which I secured ASHP accreditation for the maximum eight-year term, and am also engaged in teaching at a College of Pharmacy. I am passionate about evidence-based practice and quality improvement. I maintain a growth-oriented approach to my clinical practice, leadership, and professional development, guided by the belief that excellence is achieved through continual learning and improvement.
