Tracks potential policy changes to carbon markets and renewable energy certificates (RECs). Compiles analyses on anticipated commercial impacts, given known and forecasted market dynamics. • Manages deal execution progress from trade to execution by working with credit, product control, legal, and brokers to address any issues/ ensure timely execution of agreed carbon and REC trades. • Handles all deliveries and transfers of commodities (RECs and emissions), to and from counterparties, ensuring compliance with contractual terms of transaction. Ensures that inventory and positions are consistently documented and optimized in internal systems. • Remains up-to-date on global environmental products and their current value, optionality, and potential growth. • Supports EP desk by preparing presentations for internal approvals and external clients, preparing white-papers on market developments, etc. • Fills in on carbon and REC trading as required by EP Desk head.
