With over 30 years experience of working in the housing industry both privately and for housing providers I will be offering a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the deeply concerning issues surrounding the socioeconomic needs within our region.\"The Centre for the New Midlands CIC is an independent, not-for-profit think tank focused on the creation and sharing of new ideas to build a ‘better’ West Midlands.We work with residents and organisations to discover new solutions to help solve the region’s biggest social and economic challenges and are the place where people come to ‘debate, shape and create’ a better region.We are non-partisan; dedicated to the generation of new ideas thanks to evidence-based research and we are fully committed to making the Midlands a ‘better’ place to live, work, study, invest and play in.We do hope that you enjoy learning more about what we hope to achieve through our work and would love to have you on board through our ‘Reimagining the Region‘ network.\"

Welcome to my profile and thank you for viewing it.I\'m a very unique person and I pride myself on my ability to network at any level, from community based conversations, to the highest Government levels. My background is in housebuilding site identification, acquisition and construction in both the private and public sector. I\'ve also worked extensively in automotive engineering and in voluntary campaigning and fundraising. This has included highlighting environmental issues, ending violence against women and girls, anaphylaxis awareness and a huge passion of mine, heritage motorsport. In all of this, there has been a particular focus on law, and I am considered legally astute. My core focus however, has always been in technical construction work with extensive experience in land acquisition, planning and everything related to residential development.I\'m qualified in construction with private housebuilding, social housing and mixed use expertise. I am familiar with all forms of construction including high rise.I love to produce results by excellent partnership and project management skills. As a veteran I\'ve benefitted from the team building skills and instructional techniques I learned there.A confident public speaker and creative policy influencer, I am media trained and have appeared extensively on television and radio. I offer personal and business mentoring which is tailored to individual needs and a successful track record in assisting people and businesses to grow. I can tackle any issue that needs addressing. I\'m a very proud board member for the Centre for the New Midlands Think Tank, sitting on the Housing and Communities board. I\'m also a business Ambassador for Worcestershire helping raise much needed funding for local charities. Social Media savvy, I have a respectable following and reach, particularly on LinkedIn. I advise numerous not for profits, and small businesses on their social media and messaging. I\'m a newly published screenplay writer in the USA, after being approached by my co author, a recognised thriller writer, J K Kelly. I produce cartoon artwork which has been displayed publicly.I live in the rural North Cotswolds and ideally placed for the Midlands, South West and London.
