With a career spanning over 20 years within the finance function and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, for over 15 years, I currently reside as the Head of Finance for Datel Services to lead our financial operations and drive the financial health as we grow and scale.I am a confident, and strong qualified accountant, with an appetite to develop and flourish. I am an authentic and influential communicator giving substance and credibility to my opinion, thus powerful in driving the business forward. I empower and motivate individuals and teams by offering guidance and support so that common goals are achieved.I am able to stay centred under pressure with the ablity to pause, see what else might be possible and perhaps preferable, even if this means it may meet with opposition.My expertise include (but not limited to): effective team management; VAT analysis; cash flow forecasting; budgeting and forecasting; production of annual statutory accounts for over 30 entities; co-led external audit process; managing and maintaining intercompany balances to ensure that all subsidiary movements are consolidated correctly; IFRS16 leases projects; monthly management accounts production, including for external associate companies; interrogation of transactional ledgers to highlight areas of risk along with detailed project analysis; and applying LEAN principles to eliminate waste from processes.As an experienced accountant, I can help you streamline your financial processes and provide valuable insights to drive business growth.In my spare time, I love to be out in the fresh air, going on walks with the family and dog.
