Hello, my name is Lizzy Velthoen and I am a recent graduate from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo where I received a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. Alongside my major, I received minors in Women and Gender Studies and Sociology. Throughout my coursework and my extensive involvement in the University Honors College, I developed strong communication, writing, and research skills. I am passionate about public-interest legal work and am eager to apply my educational background to a career in which I can engage directly with communities to reduce barriers to access.
