ABOUT ELIZABETH SUNIL
I’m an Economics graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, awarded the most prestigious Manju Bharat Ram Award (for the graduating batch of 2024) for leadership and contribution to the college. My work spans strategy, business development, marketing, branding & event management. • As Associate Fellow at Kochi Dialogue (India’s first-ever Track 1.5 diplomacy conference on India–GCC relations, co-hosted with the Ministry of External Affairs), I led the end-to-end execution of the summit, in about 62 days, coordinating with six GCC embassies, securing 30+ high-profile speakers, negotiating cost savings of over 25%(10.4 Lakhs), and driving 75+ international media mentions. • My internships have spanned strategy, growth, and people operations—from spearheading 5 product launches at Kerala’s largest private printing unit (Viani Printings), to developing HR policies at a ₹2500 Cr conglomerate (Raam Group), to writing expansion strategies for WOTR’s Farm Precise App impacting 4.4M farmers across India. • At LSR Tarang 2023, I relaunched Delhi University’s largest cultural festival (in 2023) after a 3-year hiatus (owing to Covid), leading External Relations and Hospitality for attendees and raising ₹48 Lakhs in negotiations, including with brands like Third Wave Coffee and Coca-Cola in about 2 months. • As Managing Director & Founding Member of Project Tawwaqo, a UN Millennium Fellowship project, I led a team that built a sustainable business model empowering 100+ Afghan refugee women, raising profits of and securing several business collaborations & retail orders. • Recognised with Certificates of Merit for HIVE and VAPP at LSR, I’ve consistently led large teams (65+ members), negotiated with 400+ collaborators, and designed for occasions ranging from the French Foreign Affairs Minister’s visit to Delhi University’s Green Cup. • Outside of work, I run Liz Cuts, a Kirigami (the traditional Japanese art of paper cutting) brand with a modern twist, that has delivered 50+ custom commissions since age 15, combining my creative vision with entrepreneurial drive. Across these experiences, I’ve built expertise in stakeholder management, sponsorship acquisition, strategic communications, and high-pressure execution. I work best at the intersection of relationships, ideas, and creativity, whether in business development, marketing, strategy, branding, or event management. I particularly enjoy building systems from the ground up, even when there isn\'t an established playbook.
