I am a journalist specializing in business coverage who is passionate about connecting with audiences across multiple platforms. I currently cover commercial real estate, residential real estate, sports business and retail in Winston-Salem, High Point, Greensboro and the surrounding areas for the Triad Business Journal.I am a May 2023 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I majored in media and journalism in the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media with a second major in Global Studies. My experience includes writing, reporting, audience engagement, social media management, graphic design, web design, video production, market research, data analytics and marketing. My bylines span from business journalism to investigative and long-form reporting to features and arts and culture stories. I have worked as an intern at the Triangle Business Journal and Triangle Media Partners. I was most recently a business reporting intern at the Raleigh News & Observer through the Dow Jones News Fund. I also worked for The Daily Tar Heel, UNC\'s student newspaper, for my four years as a student. My senior year at The DTH I served on the management team as the Community Engagement Director, where I led the paper\'s digital strategy and community outreach efforts.
