About Elizabeth Snouffer

I am a first-year student at Miami University pursuing a double major in Microbiology and Neuroscience while following both the Pre-Med and Pre-Law tracks. I plan to pursue a joint JD/MD program after completing my undergraduate studies, combining my interests in science, medicine, and law to address complex issues at the intersection of healthcare and policy. As a Passport Program Scholar, I am committed to academic excellence, leadership, and purposeful professional development. These experiences have strengthened my analytical foundation and my ability to think critically across both scientific and legal frameworks. I am particularly interested in exploring career paths that integrate medical knowledge with legal advocacy, especially in areas such as healthcare policy, bioethics, and patient rights. I am drawn to opportunities where scientific understanding meets legal reasoning, and where I can contribute to meaningful, real-world impact. On campus, I serve as the Education Team Assistant for Women Who Invest, where I contribute to initiatives that promote financial literacy and support the development of accessible educational programming as well as the Vice President of Operations for the Farmer School of Business Ambassadors. I am also actively involved in organizations such as The Amicus Curiae Pre-Law Society, the Council of Social Entrepreneurship, and the Multicultural Business Association, which provide opportunities for collaboration, leadership, and professional growth across diverse fields of interest.Beyond academics, I am deeply engaged in creative expression through the Visual Arts Club, which allows me to balance analytical rigor with creativity. I believe that integrating creativity with structured thinking enhances my ability to problem-solve and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy reading classic literature and oil painting, both of which encourage discipline, critical thinking, and continuous self-improvement. I am always eager to connect with peers and professionals who are passionate about medicine, law, and interdisciplinary approaches to solving complex problems.
