As the Graduate Medical Education Credentialing Coordinator at one of the nation\'s leading pediatric healthcare institutions, I manage the credentialing, onboarding, and compliance processes for all visiting residents and fellows at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I work independently under the leadership of the Manager of Graduate Medical Education to ensure a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for learners rotating through our institution.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all aspects of onboarding, credentialing, and compliance for visiting residents and fellows rotating through 30+ pediatric programs.Manage complex rotation tracking systems using Smartsheet and MedHub, ensuring timely processing and visibility across stakeholders.Serve as the central liaison for external GME institutions, enforcing Phoenix Children’s rotation request policy and ensuring institutional compliance.Oversee access provisioning, badge activation, cafeteria fund loading, and electronic medical record credentialing in collaboration with IT, Security, and department administrators.Design and implement onboarding workflows and documentation standards for one-day, PRN, and longitudinal rotators.Troubleshoot scheduling and compliance discrepancies with program directors, coordinators, and hospital departments to prevent delays.Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize onboarding efficiency, data tracking accuracy, and policy adherence.Ensure all credentialing tasks meet ACGME, institutional, and departmental requirements.I take pride in upholding the mission, vision, and values of Phoenix Children’s by ensuring every learner has a streamlined, supportive, and policy-compliant educational experience.
