I\'ve spent my career relentlessly curious and constantly learning— I\'ve worked on shooters, puzzle games, midcore strategy titles, narrative-driven RPGs, and games that defy classification. I\'ve worked on games with DAU in the millions, and won awards for creating a game that only has one single copy in existence. I\'m as comfortable mapping an intricate game narrative as I am hashing out progression systems in excel. I\'ve cultivated this aggressively non-specialized career because all design boils down to connection, and it\'s my job to ensure that the connections created by my design are meaningful. I\'ve been able to apply lessons I learned in casino-game meetings to midcore titles, and lessons from intricate narrative work to level design on strategy titles. My compulsion is to take everything apart and put it back together just to see how it works. My strength is in being able to see beyond genres, beyond art and platform and IP, directly to the building blocks of any system.And with the right materials? You can build anything.
