About Elizabeth Rutkowski

For 6 years I\'ve worked with a school district under their communications department. In that time I\'ve learned Adobe Premiere, After Effects and how to operate a Tricaster and Slingstudio. I am the only individual in this large district who video edits so everything I\'ve learned I\'ve taught myself. We focus on telling stories about our district and educators so I often set up and interview staff/students/community members as well as capture appropriate broll and then edit the project. I am a start to finish project manager of my own work. Recently I\'ve worked with students teaching them to film and livestream events. While working here I also obtained my UAS remote pilot license and can fly a drone commercially. Previously, I interned with the Cleveland Browns in their scoreboard department video editing on Avid. There I created content for both game-day and for special events. I enjoy learning new skills and growing in my abilities to edit and film great interviews.

   In Mentor, I produce content for our Spectrum TV Channel and YouTube channel all relating to our school district. I cover 12 different schools and therefore film everything from concerts and sporting events to video updates with our Superintendent and feature stories highlighting outstanding educators. My position requires me to film, edit and produce each video in a timely manner while being self-managed.
