ABOUT ELIZABETH RUSHWORTH

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Currently, I am working full-time at Foth as a Civil Engineer. On campus, I was involved serving as UofL ASCE\'s Vice President of Activities and Team Captain of the ASCE Sustainable Solutions Team, working at the Student Recreation Center, and as a member of the University’s Division I Rowing Team.In 2023, I completed two semester-long co-op rotations along with a summer of part-time work in LG & E and KU\'s Environmental Affairs department. In this position, I gained environmental experience in both a corporate office and in the field, doing work at many of the company\'s facilities such as power plants, storerooms, and natural gas compressor stations.During my Summer 2024 semester, I worked full-time as an intern for Foth at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and Bowman Field Airport. In this position, I primarily worked in the field gaining experience in the aviation construction industry. Additionally, this job allowed me to learn about airport operations as I had to pass a badging exam and a check ride to be able to drive on the airfield and carry out my job duties.
