That’s a mix of personal history and little sparks of inspiration. It’s my favorite Stevie Nicks song. It’s a nod to the childhood memory from Overboard (yeah, the plot’s a little creepy now) where the guy builds his Wonders of the World putt-putt course. The number 7 also has a… plot-twist meaning to me.(Ask me sometime — it’s one of those stories that puts fire in my belly.) And then there’s my family legacy: great-grandma, grandpa, dad, uncle, uncle, uncle, aunt… and me — the 7th in my family in the financial services industry. Monday, June 4th, 2001 at exactly 7 AM, I started my career in financial services. 24 Years in the Making This career has been… unique. And on May 22nd of this year, I almost walked away for good. Not the first time I’ve questioned the integrity of the industry I love — but this time, I was ready to hang it up forever. Then the outreach came. Messages from peers, clients, and industry friends telling me the difference I’ve made. It wasn’t just flattering — it was grounding. A reminder that my work still matters.
