About Elizabeth R. Gonzalez
I am a motivated advocate for human rights, a community-driven bridge builder, and a compassionate connector. In my current role at the National Immigrant Justice Center, I provide bilingual, trauma-informed legal services to Chicago\'s immigrant community. My past experiences at the Notre Dame Law School’s Global Human Rights Clinic, the Office of the Attorney General of New York State, and the Clooney Foundation for Justice have shaped my human-centered approach to justice.During my time at Notre Dame, I developed strong leadership, public speaking, and research skills through the Kellogg International Scholars Program, the Kennedy Scholars Program, and by completing my Honors Senior Thesis. These experiences have prepared me to pursue my vocation with confidence and a lifelong commitment to service. I aim to live out my vocation through genuine accompaniment and collaboration with the communities I serve, ultimately promoting integral human development and dignity for all.I graduated in 2024 from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Political Science and Global Affairs, a minor in Latino Studies, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
