Work closely with the Clinical to understand strategy and business needs while keeping top of mind industry trends and evolving technology. Translate between both to define and further develop the overall eClinical Roadmap for the entire Clinical Development organization.• Main areas to be covered are: Patient and site facing systems within R&D, including IRT, eCOA, eConsent, Wearables/Digital Health. Includes driving any interfaces or data integrations between systems and Business Intelligence solutions.• Develop and maintain the overall strategy in compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Contribute to drug development plans, submission and life-cycle management strategies (e.g. health economics data). • Manage the entire lifecycle of the above outlined solution areas. This includes planning/design, implementation/validation, maintenance, support and decommissioning.• In alignment with the business owners, evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers. Provide oversight and governance to these vendors. • Educate and train Clinical Development staff and external service providers on the use and process efficiencies of eClinical systems and tools.• Plan and provide Business Intelligence solutions to present integrated information and data from relevant eClinical systems to enable decision making on all organizational levels as well as on program and study level.• Strategically partner with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. key management at CROs and technology vendors) to manage operational and departmental risks, as well as ensure study delivery objectives are achieved. • Foster a leadership culture which attracts, develops and retains high caliber individuals with expertise in eClinical technology. Ensure accountable performance management of all staff against personal management plans and expected behavior.• Act as a single point of contact for Clinical Development to IT
