   I facilitate writing-based empowerment programs for girls and gender-expansive youth, creating a safe space for young women to tell their story, speak their truth, and become the leaders of their own lives. As both a teacher and the executive director, my work involves- Communicating the mission and brand at every touch point through the writing and design of all print and online media including our website, newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, posters, flyers, fundraising videos, and sponsorship materials, as well as giving in-person presentations to parents, students, and community groups- Developing dynamic, empowering curricula for teenage girls and gender-expansive youth; teaching creative writing, critical thinking, effective communication, intuitive leadership, emotional resilience and radical self-acceptance to support the social, emotional and mental health of young women- College essay coaching and support- Mentoring and supporting girls to find their voice and discover their unique strengths- Building relationships and community engagement among students, parents, volunteers, community advocates, corporate sponsors, and like-minded supporters- Editing student writing for our online blog + the design and layout of our last five student anthologies- Organizing, promoting, and leading all community events including student readings
