I consider myself to be a chemistry educator and researcher, and I educate students in chemistry both through being a part of my research group and through my classes and outreach activities. I run a research group of postdoctoral fellows and graduate and undergraduate students. Additionally I teach inorganic, organic and general chemistry.Specialties: Bioinorganic and organometallic chemistry, including the synthesis of water-soluble ligands, and applications including hydrolysis and hydrogenation reactions. Additionally, we are interested in the activation of small molecules and catalysis.
