In my current postion, I have been tasked with the architecture and implementation of acompletely new EDI structure. I have created EDI trading partner relationships, designednew maps, purchased, installed and implemented the translator as well as multiplecommunication avenues. I am responsible for growing the trading partner community,maintaining the current transactions, auditing the systems, setting security andvalidating data archiving. This position requires that I am adequately trained on Unix aswell as Gentran Server for Windows. I am also responsible for transitioning the currentdatabase reports to an ODBC mapping structure to EDI compliant documents. As Intcomex is adistributer of computers to Latin America, I must also maintain familiarity of Globaldistribution lnfastructure, High Tech Industry EDI standards as well as be able tocommunicate with affiliates in Latin America.I have been asked to be the lead project manager for other areas within the company. Ihave been assigned as the project manager of the Vendor report migration from our legacysystem to a the new BO report system. I am also the project manager on our Imagingproject which is a document retention application. With this position, I have also researched and provided to upper management new Supply Chain software which was approved and implemented. Not only am I responsible for the application but my knowledge of supply chain and vendor managed inventory management is a plus for assisting the inventory team in this area.
