About Elizabeth M Hider

I\'m a quick study, Brutally Honest, hard working, and a team player. I give my all to everything I\'m interested in. I\'ve raised 3 beautiful children two of which is in the industrial inspection world, my third youngest is almost finished with her Nursing degree at Walsh College. I\'m proud of all three. I enjoy my family time with my kids and grand kids. I\'m self taught in this industrial Inspection world, I started as an assistant and worked my way up. Someone gave me the opportunity said I could do this type of work and I succeeded. He had the faith and the belief in my abilities and I\'m very grateful he gave me the opportunity. I enjoy what I do for a living especially the nuclear side. But I\'m willing to work all sides in the industry. I have 37 plus years in the work force, started working at age 14 in restaurants.I worked in food and beverage as a server and progressed into management, 19 years. Then I decided to give construction a try and spent 10 years, started out as a secretary, then labor, and moved up to be owner of a small construction company, I wanted another challenge. I took a chance on Industrial Inspection work to gain more experience and better my opportunities. My most recent company was Babcocks & Wilcox Nuclear Division of Operations. I was a Quality Assurance Supervisor over: Inspections, X-Ray, film interpretation, audits, & surveillance\'s reviewing procedures & processes & work instructions, big crane component moves, over checks, time keeping, safety talks, tool box weekly talks, disciplinary write ups, corrective action, and meetings weekly with manager. I carry a 30 Hour OSHA Certification, TWIC Card and I have DOE clearance for Nuclear Power. I would be a great asset to any company.
