About Elizabeth Lund
Elizabeth H. Lund is a seasoned aerospace industry executive and board director with over three decades of leadership experience spanning quality, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and large-scale program management.Until her retirement in 2025, Elizabeth served as Senior Vice President of Quality at The Boeing Company, where she led Boeing’s global quality organization of more than employees. In this role, she spearheaded the company’s enterprise-wide focus on operational quality and safety, partnering with the FAA and global regulators to implement a comprehensive safety and quality plan, elevate oversight, and embed best practices across all airplane programs.Previously, Elizabeth served as Senior Vice President of Airplane Programs, overseeing production and delivery for Boeing’s 737, 747, 767, and 787 programs—an organization of more than employees. Her leadership delivered substantial improvements in delivery performance, supply chain stability, and Lean transformation.Earlier in her career, she was Vice President and General Manager of Supply Chain, responsible for strategy, contracting, and execution across a $40 billion global supplier network in 41 countries. She also held executive leadership roles across the 747, and 767 programs, and as Vice President of Product Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.Elizabeth’s career reflects a proven record of managing multi-billion-dollar P & Ls, advancing regulatory and quality excellence, and driving transformational change across complex global operations. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, technical rigor, and ability to align diverse stakeholders—including regulators, customers, union partners, and international suppliers—around safety, quality, and performance.Following her retirement from Boeing, Elizabeth was appointed to the Board of Directors of ATI Materials (NYSE: ATI), a global leader in high-performance materials and components for aerospace, defense, and energy markets.Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Missouri.
