About Elizabeth Larrivee
I\'m a political theorist with degrees in political science (PhD, University of Notre Dame) and philosophy (BAHons, University of Winnipeg). I\'ve held positions at Clemson University (political science; Lyceum Program) and Colgate University (University Studies), and am currently a course instructor and director of academic policy and compliance at South Carolina\'s first Catholic college, Rosary College. I also teach courses on the American founding for the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University. My areas of specialization are in the history of political philosophy and philosophy and literature. Additionally, I\'ve had a long-standing interest in the relation between the mind and the body. I\'m particularly interested in the myriad ways human psychology is affected by our bodies (particularly the gut-brain axis), and the relation between health and the environment. Emerging research on PTSD, nutrition, mitochondrial health, and circadian rhythms are a few examples of topics I follow. My company, the Tripartite Agency, provides copywriting services for medical professionals who have a desire to help patients restore natural function to their bodies and minds. I write research-backed, search-engine optimized (SEO) content such as blogs, landing pages, and website copy to help connect clients and healthcare providers.
