As a young girl, I was often called “bossy,” but I prefer to think I had innate leadership skills. At 3 years old, I would ask my teacher to accompany me to the nursery so I could check in on my newborn brother—my very first experience with “onboarding.” Years later, I created a system to ensure every classmate got a fair turn on the swings at recess. Fairness, efficiency, and care for others have always driven me, and they continue to define my approach to Human Resources.
