I am dedicated to empowering the future generation of risk management and insurance professionals by serving as a mentor, providing challenges, and openly sharing my wealth of experiences. Through my own commitment to lifelong learning, I strive to lead by example and demonstrate the numerous advantages that come with embracing a mindset of continual growth and development.Drawing on my experience as a co-founder of BKS Partners and The Baldwin Group, I have worn multiple hats throughout my career journey - from serving as President and COO, to leading HR initiatives, directing the Employee Benefits Group, offering guidance as an advisor, even handling the occasional copy machine glitch, and managing dozens of strategic initiatives. This diverse background has equipped me with a versatile skill set that I have applied to my involvement with numerous boards focusing on education, mental health, and within my faith community.Currently, a significant portion of my efforts is dedicated to collaborating with the University of South Florida to continue to grow The Baldwin Group School of Risk Management & Insurance. I am deeply engaged in working with industry peers to broaden students\' experiential learning opportunities. While my focus remains on Employee Benefits and its pivotal role in cultivating a distinctive organizational culture, many of my speaking engagements now seem to center around sharing insights gained from navigating past mistakes and the immeasurable value of grit.
