Level 5 ManagerI oversee several AOR\'s for this position, including but not limited to all employee beverage education, SOP beverage compliance and execution, wine & spirits purchasing, and the beverage department. I am also the acting Sommelier for our location. In addition, I also oversee the server AOR, bar AOR, and host AOR. Since starting, wine tastes for wine sales have dropped, by the bottle sales have improved, product movement of final sale product has increased, and speed and product consistency for output at our bars have increased. I have also put together an entire program where staff can fully access all by the bottle wine information for currently represented vintages, and weekly wine education, that follows an introductory curriculum that I created to specifically build the front of house staffs knowledge from the ground up. We cannot be the leader of an experience of our guests until we take all aspects of knowledge and put it into their hands. This education will eventually open into spirits, after dinner beverage placement, beer, etc. as well, and has been produced for duplication across the corporate landscape.
