About Elizabeth Higgins
Elizabeth Higgins, LMSW is a dedicated Licensed Master\'s Social Worker currently working in the medical /SNF healthcare industry. She is a mental health professional utilizing a trauma-informed, strength-based framework in the empowerment & advocacy she strives to provide to her community. Her work focuses on mental health support utilizing mind-body informed support, inner child work and other expressive forms of therapy. She has 4+ years of social work experience, focusing on mental health, coordinating care & developing treatment plans. As well as geriatric support/empowerment/advocacy, mediation, and educational training provided for staff focusing on resident (older adults) rights, intersectionality and trauma-informed care. She is currently a licensed Master’s of Social Work and is working towards her clinical license to provide clinical mental health support. She is looking forward to attending the Seattle School of Body Psychotherapy to further her competency in mind-body work to be able to one day, open her own practice of healing.
