About Elizabeth Hartnett

Elizabeth joined HSBC\'s institutional Client Group (ICG) to cover global investor clients. Prior to HSBC, she spearheaded private capital markets for Galaxy Digital’s Frontier Technology investment banking team working with institutional investors and corporate management teams, across the US, Europe and the Middle East, on equity and credit capital raises. Before Galaxy, Elizabeth was responsible for private credit origination across the Middle East and Europe for VTB Capital. Her team sourced and managed transactions for the bank’s balance sheet with a focus on energy, infrastructure, consumer goods, commodities, and real estate. Before joining VTB Capital, Elizabeth spent seven years at Deutsche Bank in Emerging Market Equities and Capital Markets; she worked on several landmark IPOs, pre-IPO and bridge to IPO financing transactions in the Middle East and Russia. Elizabeth spent four years at HSBC in US Equities and Emerging Market Equities before joining Deutsche. At HSBC, she worked closely with publicly listed Middle East based corporates seeking US capital for the first time. Outside of work, Elizabeth currently sits on the board of the Nasarean Foundation and is a Co-Chair of the French Heritage Society’s Young Patron’s Circle, She co-founded the Rebuilding Afghanistan Foundation (RAF), which educated over boys and girls across rural Afghanistan from 2003 to 2013; during that time, Elizabeth and her co-founders were frequent speakers on Afghanistan on CNN and other media channels. She has a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and a B.A. from Villanova University.
