ABOUT ELIZABETH HALLIDAY

Beginning my construction and engineering journey in with a multi-disciplinary masters degree specialising in Environmental Engineering I joined the construction industry at a very interesting time. Driving low energy building design and sustainable construction throughout my career has developed my mindset and led me to my current people focused position. I am currently the Head of Responsible Business at Morgan Sindall Construction in Scotland. In this role, I lead the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to enhance the environmental, social, and economic impact of our projects and operations. I leverage my expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, environmental engineering, operational energy modelling and whole life carbon to deliver high-quality and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders. I also collaborate with internal and external partners to promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement in responsible business. My core competencies include sustainability, social value, stakeholder engagement, project management, and team leadership. I am passionate about creating positive change in the built environment and contributing to the wider goals of the Morgan Sindall Group.
