ABOUT ELIZABETH GUTIERREZ
Welcome to my LinkedIn! I am originally from the south suburbs of Chicago. I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with a bachelor\'s in food science and human nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics and a master\'s in Nutritional Sciences. While the information I learned was vast, I always focused on community nutrition, public health, and nutrition policy. During my dietetic internship, I learned of the immense inequities that exist and how that impacts communities from accessing the care, the food, or the resources they need to thrive. Because of this, I have sought out opportunities to impact people further and meet them where they are at, wherever that may be! With the RD exam complete, I am excited to continue to build my passion for policy, non-profit work, and nutrition while uplifting the Latino community in my current role. Onward!
