I am a research scientist applying my knowledge of physics and fluid dynamics to an investigation of snake swimming hydrodynamics. I will be measuring the efficiency of snake swimming and the wake that they produce with several methods including volumetric PIV. This project is a collaboration between PMMH and the National Museum of Natural History.
