Serves as a key advisor to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer, preparing reports on a regular basis with updates on specific departments, projects, and programs.• Oversees special projects on behalf of the Division, ensuring appropriate staff and other resources are allocated to ensure timely and successful completion;• Works cross organizationally to ensure that the Authority and its staff are aware of applicable legal requirements, internal policies and procedures and have the tools and training to comply therewith.• Supports Division\'s strategic planning and goal-setting, ensures plans are executed and goals are met.• Coordinates with the Division of Law in seeking legal opinions, as needed.• Serves as a liaison to sister agencies and authorities as necessary to support the work of the Division.• Ensures that long-term projects are executed in an efficient, cost-effective and diligent manner;• Works to continually improve practices and functionality and promote efficiency; helps create or refine the Division’s policies and standard operating procedures; reviews existing policies, procedures and practices and makes recommendations for improvements; supports efforts to modernize and update systems and processes.
