ABOUT ELIZABETH GADDINI
I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins SAIS studying European public policy, supported by a Rotary Global Grant in community economic development. I\'m interested in how policymakers and private actors can shape transatlantic digital cooperation so that AI and emerging technologies strengthen democracy and serve communities. Before SAIS, I spent five years with the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources for Public Diplomacy, where I helped implement a global modernization initiative impacting more than 180 U.S. embassies and consulates. I believe technology and diplomacy should work together to serve people, not systems, building more resilient and connected communities worldwide.
