As a Senior Software Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group, I work across Python, SQL, data engineering, full-stack development, and cloud to deliver scalable solutions used by thousands of colleagues.Over four years I have grown from Graduate Data Scientist to engineering leadership, most recently managing 9 engineers and delivering a major GCP cloud migration in Q1 2026, completed ahead of schedule. Along the way I have picked up a Role Model of the Year award (Financial Services 2024), a Highly Commended nod for Engineer of the Year, and was named in Computing’s Tech Celebration 50 list for 2025.Beyond the code, I care deeply about the people around it. I mentor and coach engineers at all levels, and I am an active advocate for diversity in tech through the Women ConnecTech network, where I organise events, host talks, and help build a community of practice. I was shortlisted for Mentor of the Year and Emerging Leader in Tech & Data at the 2025 Women ConnecTech awards.I am now taking my next step into engineering leadership and am always happy to connect with others building impactful technology or championing inclusion in the industry.
