Global Village Project is the only school in the US established specifically for refugee girls. GVP provides newly resettled girls in and around Decatur, GA to reactivate their education and prepare for high school and beyond. When girls arrive in the US as refugees they typically have little to no education and little, if any English language and literacy. Our robust curriculum enables girls aged 11-18 to catch up through education in intensive English language, STEAM, Social and Emotional Learning and through mentoring. As CEO and Head of School I help define strategy, lead programs, ensure sound operations, resourcing, thought leadership and impact.
