Liz is a Partner at PwC’s Asset Management practice in New York, specializing in Alternative Investments. She is a recognized leader with a 22 year track record serving many of the firm’s most complex alternative investment clients. Liz provides assurance and advisory services to asset management clients, with extensive experience in hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds and endowments. Her experience ranges from serving start-up managers to serving large global managers. Liz\'s client base encompasses funds with a broad array of trading styles, including long/short equity, credit derivatives, global macro, asset and mortgage-backed investing, distressed investing and other alternative investments, as well as funds of funds and private equity funds. Her clients include multibillion-dollar private hedge funds and private equity funds of varying structures and strategies. Liz also has extensive experience working with fund-of-fund clients and endowment institutions. Liz has significant knowledge of auditing under US GAAS, accounting under US GAAP and regulatory issues relating to alternative investment funds. Liz is a frequent instructor on accounting issues affecting the alternative investments industry. Liz adds value to her clients and the industry by combining her deep industry knowledge, commitment, and leadership, with substantive technical expertise, a collaborative style and a fair and balanced approach.Liz is active in many non-profit organizations and sits on the Pace University Lubin School of Business Alumni Board of Directors and the New York State Society of CPA’s Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession Board of Directors.Liz earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Latin American Studies from Pace University. Liz is a CPA licensed in New York and Connecticut.
