ABOUT ELIZABETH CHAO
As a board certified molecular geneticist (ABMG) with almost 15 years of lab experience, I focus on the development and utilization of clinical genomic testing. My experience includes a strong background in the development of microarray technology and, more recently, in next-generation sequencing (NGS) based testing in hereditary oncology and rare disorders. My research focuses on novel methodologies for the interpretation of genomic variation (variant classification science) and the translation of DNA sequence information into improvements in clinical care.
