Elizabeth Barrows is a driven professional ready to make a change. Twenty years of providing successful federal funding, project management and regulatory support for her clients and employers provides the foundation for a transition into a strategic, director, or executive level position with the right company. She holds a master\'s degree in biomedical engineering, with experience in medical device and biologic product development, with emphases in in vitro diagnostics, blood products, and analgesics. Elizabeth is currently product manager for Aardvark Medical Company\'s CLEARinse CTS - a BARDA funded in vitro diagnostic development project from inception through regulatory filing. She served as the program manager for Entegrion\'s platelet derived hemostatic agent program, a project manager with Metabolon’s precision medicine team, and assisted the blood banking community with regulatory affairs and FDA interaction as a Deputy Director at AABB.She has extensive experience as a federal funding consultant, including interaction with the Legislative and Executive branches of the US Government – particularly the Department of Defense and Health and Human Services, regulated medical product project management, government strategy, development of non-dilutional funding opportunities and government partnering. Elizabeth’s in depth knowledge of the Department of Defense funding opportunities and needs has a basis in experience; where she managed pharmaceutical research and development projects in blood products, resuscitation fluids and analgesic drugs for the US Army from 20••••09. She has also worked with NASA and private industry on the development of biomedical sensors and robotics. Elizabeth held a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (20••••18) and is certified under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act training scale at Level 3 in Science and Technology Management and Level 2 in Program Management.
