Hi there! I\'m a senior journalism and Spanish major at the University of Maryland with a focus on local news. Right now, I serve as The Diamondback\'s editor in chief, which is one of my university\'s fully independent and student run newspapers. We\'re focused on proactively covering the local effects of federal actions in the University of Maryland, College Park and Prince George\'s County communities. I\'ve covered local government, education and written human-interest feature stories at the Tampa Bay Times and Baltimore Sun. I also analyzed data in an investigation on train travel at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism. My work has been featured in The Associated Press, Washington Post, Tampa Bay Times, Baltimore Sun, Capital News Service, Carroll County Times, Howard County Times, the Harford Magazine, The Aegis and The Frederick News-Post.
