About Elizabeth Akers

During my 17 plus years in governmental auditing, eight of which in special investigations, I have gained immeasurable knowledge of public entities and their operations. I have thrived as a public speaker at conferences and trainings, which allow me to share my experiences and understanding of government fraud and preventative measures to safeguard taxpayer dollars. Starting in 2023, I shifted my career in government fraud investigations to GHJ, an accounting and advisory firm based in Los Angeles. I work 100% disbursed for the Forensics and Litigations Department assisting primarily in forensics investigations. I enjoy working with the clients to determine how the fraud occurred and how to prevent it in the future. In May of 2023, I launched Akers Financial Coaching, in order to guide individuals and couples to a debt free life by designing a budget to give their income a purpose and track and reduce their expenditures. I mostly enjoy working with young individuals fresh out of college and couples who need a moderator to learn how to work together and how to combined their financial lives into one. It is truly a passion I have to change people\'s lives by leading them to financial freedom. I offer coaching sessions in person near Chattanooga, Tennessee or via videoconference. I peak at my professional performance when I get to interact with others, whether it be through internal teamwork or assisting clients with their needs. I enjoy being social and conversating, as well being the presenter for a forum for topics I am knowledgeable on and have a passion for. I take pleasure in hosting and serving others, sharing encouragement, and making others feel comfortable.
