ABOUT ELIZA YOUNG
I’m a aspiring physician-scientist passionate about merging biology, medicine, and engineering to advance human health. At Roland Park Country School, I maintain a 97 weighted GPA across seven AP courses and lead multiple organizations as President of the Student Wellness Organization and Co-President of Eye to Eye, a national nonprofit supporting students with learning differences. I worked as an intern in the pediatric operating rooms at Johns Hopkins, where I saw cutting-edge neurosurgical procedures that used robotics and imaging technology. These experiences made me even more committed to medicine and innovation. As the captain of the varsity soccer team, I bring the same focus and leadership to all of my academic and research work. I’m driven to combine science, empathy, and creativity to make a lasting impact in healthcare.
