I advance science and engineering by integrating AI, HPC, and physics-inspired modeling to accelerate discovery in some of the most data-intensive domains, from gravitational wave detection to materials and biophysics. As Lead for Translational AI at Argonne National Lab and Senior Scientist at the University of Chicago, I build scalable, reproducible AI systems that turn large scale scientific data into actionable insights with real impact.Across multiple NSF- and DOE-funded projects, I lead interdisciplinary teams to create open-science platforms and frameworks, enabling researchers across institutions to deploy foundation AI models and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles in real science workflows. My work has improved computational throughput, enabled new discoveries, and championed reproducibility at scale—all while mentoring the next generation of AI and computational scientists.I\'m passionate about bridging fundamental research and real-world impact. Whether it\'s discovering new materials for energy storage and conversion, scaling AlphaFold2 on supercomputers to accelerate biophysics research or developing physics-informed AI for multi-messenger astrophysics discovery, I focus on solutions that make advanced AI usable, interpretable, and transformational.
