Taught all language levels throughout the range of courses present for the Portuguese section at FSI Certified Tester Portuguese by LTA (Language Testing and Assessment) at SLS-NFATC Helped in the design and implementation of the new curriculum for the Portuguese course, writing guideline documents, designing lesson plans, collecting material using task and project-based methodology and piloted it. Received the Franklin Awards (2022) and the Meritorious Award (2023) for that work. Currently working as a curriculum developer in 2025 for the Curriculum Alignment Initiative (CAI) using task-based approach Participated in 54 Professional Development sessions, created and facilitated 05 sessions about educational trends, won best session of the month for “Power ups: hot seat and pyramid games to help with vocabulary retention” in July 2022, and won “Presenter of the year 2023”Secretary of Disability Action Group (DAG), aids their general programs and is personally focused on discussion and actions to address neurodivergency for employees at State Department, aided Sunflower Program, facilitated conversation hours and events to learn about DAG’s membership needs pertaining to disabilitiesRotational detail at the Learning and Technology Innovation. Created The Instructional Apps Resource Center to gather materials (videos and infographics, etc) to disseminate knowledge about AI, educational technology and 508 compliance. Trained through one-on-one and 29 Professional Development sessions circa 70 SLS personnel in Ed Tech Apps like Canva, Wordwall, ThingLink, etc. Wrote the two modules of the course “Introduction to tech at SLS”, with the step-by-step of tech systems at SLS using Articulate 360 to be part of “Introduction to SLS” made by Professional Development.Vice-President of Membership for FSI’s Toastmaster club “Tongue-Tied Trainers”.
