About Elise Hansell
I\'m a lifelong advocate for gender equity and good governance. With 10+ years of experience working in local government and with NGOs, my approach to solving problems is grounded in research, creativity, and partnerships. Over time, I’ve had the honor to work on a range of systemic issues—criminal justice reform, domestic violence/ sexual assault prevention, housing, public health, and COVID-19 emergency response. Currently I’m working in civic tech policy and government operations reform. I studied philosophy and government at Claremont McKenna College and earned my master\'s degree from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
