About Elise Bascom
I have worked as an Outpatient Health Psychologist since 2019. I previously worked as an Integrated Behaviorist at The Corvallis Clinic and outpatient therapist at Vista Counseling and Wellness Center. I currently work at Headlight as an outpatient therapist. My specialty training is in pain psychology, psycho-gastroenterology, and psycho-oncology. I am trained in CBT, DBT and ACT. My work in the last few years has also included training in EMDR, emotional freedom technique (EFT) certification, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy and internal family systems (IFS). Informed by polyvagal theory, I utilize the biopsychosocial-spiritual model of care to address dysregulation of CNS, ANS, and ENS. I teach theories of dysregulation based on adverse life experiences that have been maladaptively stored in neuroceptive responses to one’s environment.
