ABOUT ELISA TORNOW

Video Producer | End-to-End Production + Post | Documentary & NarrativeI’m a video producer working across end-to-end production and post on commercial, branded, documentary, and narrative projects for brands and agencies that care about story and execution. My background is in theater, which means I’m deeply comfortable juggling creative vision, logistics, personalities, and deadlines… often at the same time. I hold a BFA in Technical Theater (Stage Management Concentration) from Ithaca College, and I bring that collaborative, problem-solving mindset to every project, from early concept through final delivery. I’m known for keeping productions moving, spotting issues before they become fires, and maintaining a calm, good-humored set — even when the clock is ticking.(Especially when the clock is ticking.)One of the major advantages of my production environment is fully in-house music and audio. With recording, sound design, and original scoring happening under the same (gorgeous) studio roof, image and sound evolve together instead of being bolted on at the finish line. The work is stronger, and the process is noticeably calmer for everyone involved.I also bring a strong on-camera coaching skillset, particularly for business professionals and non-actors. Thanks to my theater roots, I know how to help people feel natural, confident, and human on camera without turning the process into a performance boot camp.Along the way, I’ve worked across advertising, branded content, and long-form storytelling, with career highlights including screenwriting recognition as an alternate in HBO’s Project Greenlight competition, and being scouted by Saturday Night Live. I’m currently seeking agency partners who want a production team they can trust with both the creative and the practical — and who appreciate clear communication, good collaboration, and a sense of humor when things get interesting. If that sounds like your kind of working relationship, let’s connect.
