ABOUT ELISA MUÑOZ

A former Venezuelan and a New Yorker I am now an “Okie” and I love to create anew. I have a master’s in arts from New York University\'s Department of Culture and Communication and a bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design, a division at the New School for Social Research in New York city. For many years I’ve used art and design thinking to create visions, strategies, roadmaps, business cases, publications, communications, governance frameworks, standards, quality, productivity, organizations, collaborations, digital products, knowledge bases, work experiences, cost savings, revenue streams, internal and external services, programs, processes, events, data architectures, and much more. Along my journey, I’ve learned why I love what I do: 1. I love to help people embrace change because when they do they acquire an innovation mindset and I get to engage in deep understanding of the individual, the organization, and the country\'s culture, along with the vision of their future, which is responsive or anticipatory of external industry and world transformation. One of my favorite things to do when influencing mindsets within organizations is to design effective information, visualizations, communication, collaborations, governance, education, and I work with other leaders and partners to achieve strategies that will ensure adequate resources and execution. To me, design is critical to and the biproduct of empathetic leadership. We can\'t transform without creating the environment that will engage people to go thru change. And that environment needs to be inviting and challenging. I possess a unique combination of knowledge, strengths and personality which directly relate to my life/work experiences. These traits helped me succeed through many challenges which in turn shaped me into the multilingual visual relator, the self-assured visionary and strategist, the tireless learner, and the multicultural inclusionist. My personality (ENTP) is a rare gift around the world, especially in women, where the ratio of ENTPs is only 2.4%. While belonging to a small ratio can be hard at times, my thinking style has always pushed me to work the hardest to pursue outcomes rather than isolated activities. I am just so excited to continue to create a new way of working at TDWilliamson.
