ABOUT ELISABETH JAYOT
Hi everyone! I’m Elisabeth, a cross-disciplinary design educator, prospective researcher, and unapologetic fashion critic. With over a decade in the industry, two MAs (Fashion Design + Computational Design & Mechatronics) and a PhD in Cultural Studies, I’m a real “Swiss Army knife” who blends academic research with hands-on practice and design experimentation. I’ve led two European research projects, teaming up with industrial partners across multiple European countries. As a sustainable fashion activist, I champion circular design practices and alternative business models, always pushing for systemic change. Curious by nature, I dive into foresight and future-oriented research to imagine what fashion could — and should — look like tomorrow. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with exploring how AI will reshape the industry’s creative and sustainable potential. I teach primarily in English, from my base in Paris, and am eager to bring my expertise to education, consulting, and NGO projects around the world. If my profile resonates with you or sparks new ideas, don’t hesitate to reach out; I’d love to connect and explore new opportunities together.
