About Beth Harper

With over 5 years of experience as a Youth Educator and Career Launch Program Lead at INCLUDEnyc, I am passionate about creating greater access to meaningful career opportunities for people with disabilities. In my current role, I develop and facilitate training sessions and workshops for workforce development professionals, students, parents, and educators on topics such as transition planning, college access, seeking accommodations, and building self-advocacy skills. I also provide post-secondary counseling and technical assistance to support the career goals of individuals and organizations. Through my work, I aim to change the social narrative that creates misunderstanding about people with disabilities, particularly as employees, and foster collaborative, solution-focused systems of support across all sectors.

   Career Launch is a free training series developed to assist workforce development professionals who are looking to build systems of support for people with disabilities in their programs and in the employment landscape. The series included 3 trainings sessions as well as technical assistance consultation to address each organization\'s unique challenges and needs.
