ABOUT ELISABETH SCHMELZER
As a wellness advocate I believe every individual needs and deserves clean water and fresh food, to stop merely surviving and start thriving! Food insecurity is not defined by hunger, quantity, or energy needs. Food insecurity encompasses having limited access to nutrient dense foods. It is not an individual or personal crisis. It is a COMMUNITY and SOCIAL crisis. Not having nutrient dense food impacts: 🧠 memory mood vision 🤧 susceptibility to illness 🩹 body’s ability to heal 🦴 bone strength energy muscle movement digestion weight 🫀heart rate fertility likelihood of developing illnesses that are often irreversible like diabetes or cardiovascular diseases Ending food insecurity should be a top priority. As a clinical nutritionist and mother, preventing illness and using food to heal is my passion. Let’s work together to make this happen!
