ABOUT ELISABETH F.
I’m a philanthropist, early-stage investor, and former startup operator with a career shaped by building businesses, backing ideas early, and translating vision into durable systems.I began my career inside startups, working across marketing, operations, and finance. Being close to both execution and capital formation gave me a practical education in how companies scale, how narratives create leverage, and how value compounds over time. I contributed to multiple successful exits, but more importantly, those years trained my judgment around incentives, resilience, and long-term impact.Since 2005, I’ve led my own foundation focused on equity in healthcare, education, and conservation. My work centers on strategic philanthropy and collaborative fundraising, helping mobilize tens of millions of dollars in support of organizations doing consequential work. A core part of this effort has been broadening who participates in philanthropy and how collective action can expand what is possible. As General Partner of my family office, I focus on seed and early-stage investments in companies addressing global challenges. I partner closely with founders, advising on growth strategy, storytelling, and operational clarity as they build sustainable, purpose-driven ventures.I recently completed the Leadership in Public Health program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where my capstone focused on mobile healthcare access in underserved communities. I’m currently completing post-baccalaureate premedical coursework through UC San Diego, exploring whether to pursue the MD pathway as part of a broader commitment to health systems, care delivery, and impact. That decision remains open and intentional.Across every chapter of my work, from startups to philanthropy to public health, I’m guided by the same aim: to help build systems that are more just, more inclusive, and more human.
